Walk and fortified caves
This excursion will take us to the foot of a medieval fortified cave where we will enjoy a lecture by the historian archaeologist Florence Guillot, who excavated the place. After a friendly picnic, we will extend the pleasure of this day with a stroll around the site.Saturday 29 January 2022

Departing from the charming village of Larcat, we will climb quietly on the mountainside towards Col Dollent. We will leave the Saint Barthélémy chapel on our right to continue on a track to climb towards the ridges where the surrounding peaks will unfold.
Dive into the history of the site
During this excursion, we will listen to the tales of a historian for approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes. Florence Guillot, historian and archaeologist will tell us the secrets of the site and share with us the archaeological discoveries that she has been able to make throughout years of excavations in Ariège 's sites.
