It is under a cloudy sky but without threat of rain that we walked on this vast ridge. No difficulty except some rocks on the way up to the Rock Batail. The walk was an opportunity for a good crop of Coulemelle and the difference between crocus and colchicum was a topic of discussion. It is only back in Toulouse and consulting the Flore of the Pyrenees written by Françoise Laigneau that I can say that we have seen was crocuses and not colchicum. The difference is clear since the colchicum have 6 stamens and Crocus 3.
