You don’t necessarily have to go to the mountains to see some wild flowers. Here is a very pleasant meeting on the edge of the Brienne canal this week in Toulouse (France). This is an eleven-o’clock lady from the Asparagaceae family. There are a few on the edges of the canal, not to be confused with the much more common garlic at the moment. She owes her shyness to nocturnal behavior. At night, it closes and when it is exposed to the sun it blossoms to let us enjoy its white beauty.
